Sewing Instructions Updates

Effective April 1, 2008, on the 1-Person Quilt Kit only, we have improved the design of the seam joining the gorget to the quilt.

Note: On the 2-Person Quilt Kit we had incorporated this design from the start. So if you have a 2-P quilt, just ignore this bulletin. If you bought your quilt 1P kit after April 1, you can ignore this bulletin also, because the changes are now reflected in the instructions.

On the 1-P Quilt Kit we had a simple overlap seam on the fabric joining the gorget to the quilt on both the top and bottom layers. we recommend you reinforce this seam simply by pinching the seam, lifting it free of the insulation and topstitching (close to the seam), twice. This is very simple, and it will add strength to that seam.

This is the gusset.

Feedback

If you have made and used your quilt we would enjoy hearing about it. And any photos would be a genuine bonus.

Thank you once again, and we wish you happy sewing and many years of enjoyable camping with your beautifully home-sewn quilt!
